Traveling STEM Tutor (Science & Math) Agreement
If IC accepts the tutoring position offered by the Client, IC agrees to pay Themba Tutors a commission equal to 11% of the total gross compensation received during their employment with the Client. This percentage shall remain fixed regardless of any slight variations in salary.
The anticipated total annual compensation for the position is approximately $248,400 USD. Based on this estimate:
IC agrees to remit 11% of each paycheck or disbursement received from the Client or associated third party directly to Themba Tutors. Payment shall be made within five (5) business days of receiving compensation.
This Agreement shall remain in effect for the entire duration of IC's employment with the Client. If the engagement is extended beyond the initial one-year term (expected to begin August/September 2025), the 11% commission payment terms shall continue to apply.
Commission payments to Themba Tutors shall be made via a mutually agreed method (e.g., bank transfer, Zelle, PayPal, etc.).
Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days' written notice. In such cases, IC shall ensure that all outstanding commission payments owed to Themba Tutors are paid through the effective date of termination.
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of this Agreement and any related discussions or transactions.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
This document represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, discussions, and understandings, whether oral or written.
Any modifications to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
