Private Homeschool Tutor STEM + Humanities + French Agreement

Commission Payment

If IC accepts the tutoring position offered by the Client, IC agrees to pay Themba Tutors a commission equal to 9.52% of the total gross compensation received during their employment with the Client. This percentage is fixed and applies regardless of any minor variations in salary.

Estimated Compensation

The anticipated total annual compensation for the position is approximately $210,000 USD. Based on this estimate:

IC will retain approximately $190,000 USD after commission payments.
Themba Tutors will receive approximately $20,000 USD, representing 9.52% of the total.

Payment Terms

IC agrees to remit 9.52% of each paycheck or disbursement received from the Client or affiliated third party directly to Themba Tutors. Payment shall be made within five (5) business days of receiving each payment.

Duration of Agreement

This Agreement shall remain in effect for the entire duration of IC’s employment with the Client. If the engagement continues beyond the initial one-year period (expected to begin August/September 2025), the commission structure shall remain in place.

Method of Payment

Commission payments shall be made to Themba Tutors via a mutually agreed method (e.g., bank transfer, Zelle, PayPal, etc.).

Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice. IC agrees to pay Themba Tutors any outstanding commission due up to the date of termination.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of this Agreement and any related transactions or communications.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements.

Amendments

Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
