We proudly support students from public schools across Hudson County including  a wide range of institutions: 14 elementary schools, 13 grammar schools (Pre-K–8), 4 middle schools, 6 high schools, 1 secondary school (grades 6–12), 1 alternative program, and 4 early childhood centers. These schools offer comprehensive education along with district-wide specialized programs. In Weehawken, the Weehawken Township School District operates three schools: Daniel Webster School, Theodore Roosevelt School, and Weehawken High School. The district is noted for its small class sizes and high-quality staff.

We also assist students from private and independent schools, including faith-based institutions like St. Peter’s Preparatory School and St. Dominic Academy, Montessori programs, and international schools such as the French American Academy. These schools range from infant care to high school. Weehawken has fewer private options within its limits but is close to schools in Hoboken and NYC, including Stevens Cooperative School, Hoboken Montessori, and Viaquenti Academy. Nearby preschools like Smiling Faces Educational Center and specialty schools such as the McCarton School also serve Weehawken families.

4. What credentials do your tutors and coaches have?

5. What are your rates?

Our rates vary depending on the tutor’s qualifications, service type, and session frequency. Remote tutoring starts at $125 per hour for tutors with a bachelor’s degree and $150 per hour for those with a master’s degree. In-person sessions cost $25–$50 more per hour, with higher rates for tutors with PhDs. We offer single, paid trial sessions, and payment is due per session. We do not accept credit cards and require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Contact us for more details.

We offer both in-person and online tutoring. Our services are not covered by insurance or third-party reimbursements, and payment is due immediately after the first session. We provide a free intake process, including introductory meetings with our staff.

6. How long are tutoring sessions, and how frequently are they scheduled?

Standard sessions last around one hour, but we’re flexible based on each student’s needs. Most families choose one or two sessions per week, though we tailor frequency according to each learner’s goals.
